-Large-scale abstract wood sculpture by noted Philadelphia artist ANTHONY (TONY) TREZZA (1922-2021) — constructivist / expressionist / cubist / brutalist style. Constructed from pieces of solid wood, painted black. Not apparently marked or signed. Acquired directly from the artist’s estate.
-Approximate dimensions: 50″ high, 12″ wide / deep.
-Overall good vintage condition with light wear and no significant damages. Some dust / dirt, accretion, and mildew spots mainly on the underside surfaces (see photos). Extensive cleaning or restoration has not been attempted by us.
